Regulation of Imports and Exports
(National Dental Centre Singapore — Exemption)
Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3, read with section 5, of the Regulation of Imports and Exports Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Regulations:
Citation and period in force
1.—(1)  These Regulations are the Regulation of Imports and Exports (National Dental Centre Singapore — Exemption) Regulations 2020.
(2)  These Regulations are in force for the period between 9 December 2020 and 31 October 2023 (both dates inclusive).
Exemption
2.  National Dental Centre Singapore (called in this regulation NDCS) is exempt from regulation 3 of the Regulation of Imports and Exports (Chewing Gum) Regulations (Rg 4) in respect of the import of Hue‑Check Gum® from Orophys for the purpose of the research project undertaken by NDCS and which is identified by the internal protocol number 276/2017 as allocated by NDCS.
