(Sale of Goods in Metric Units)
(Amendment) Order 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16(1) of the Weights and Measures Act 1975, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order is the Weights and Measures (Sale of Goods in Metric Units) (Amendment) Order 2022 and comes into operation on 21 November 2022.

Amendment of Schedule

2. In the Schedule to the Weights and Measures (Sale of Goods in Metric Units) Order (O 1), in the third column, replace “one metric tonne” (wherever it appears) with “one tonne”.
