Early Childhood Development Centres
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 51 of the Early Childhood Development Centres Act 2017, the Minister for Social and Family Development makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Early Childhood Development Centres (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 30 November 2022.

Deletion of regulation 4

2. Delete regulation 4 of the Early Childhood Development Centres Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 890/2018).

Replacement of Second Schedule

3. In the Early Childhood Development Centres Regulations 2018, replace the Second Schedule with —

“SECOND SCHEDULE

Regulation 3(1) and (3)

Fees

1.	Application fee for the grant of one or more licences in respect of an early childhood development centre (other than an application mentioned in item 4 or 5)

$360

2.	Application fee for the renewal of one or more licences in respect of an early childhood development centre

$360

3.	Late renewal application fee for one or more licences in respect of an early childhood development centre (payable in addition to the fee in item 2)

$180

4.	Application fee for the grant of an additional licence in respect of an early childhood development centre for which a licence for a different class has already been granted and is valid

$210

5.	Application fee for the grant of one or more new licences where the application is due to the impending lapse of one or more existing licences under section 15(1)(c) of the Act

$260
