Composition of offences
46.—(1)  The Director may, in his discretion, compound any offence under this Act or any rules made thereunder which is prescribed as an offence which may be compounded by collecting from a person reasonably suspected of having committed the offence a sum not exceeding $1,000.
(2)  The Minister may prescribe the offences which may be compounded.
(3)  Where an offence is compounded under this Act or any rules made thereunder, any article seized shall be forfeited to the Government .

46.—(1)  The Director-General may, in his discretion, compound any offence under this Act or any rules made thereunder which is prescribed as an offence which may be compounded by collecting from a person reasonably suspected of having committed the offence a sum not exceeding $1,000.
(2)  The Minister may prescribe the offences which may be compounded.
(3)  Where an offence is compounded under this Act or any rules made thereunder, any article seized shall be forfeited to the Authority.
