Production of records
36.—(1)  A commodity market, Commodity Futures Exchange, clearing house, commodity broker, commodity futures broker, commodity futures trading adviser, commodity pool operator or commodity futures pool operator shall —
(a)produce any books, accounts and records kept by it or him in connection with, or for the purposes of, its or his business, or in respect of any trading in commodity contracts or commodity futures contracts;

(b)collect and furnish any returns; and
(c)provide any information relating to its or his business, or any trading in commodity contracts or commodity futures contracts, or any other specified information,

as the Board may require.

(2)  The Board may, on production of any books, accounts or records under subsection (1), take copies of or extracts from them.
(3)  If any of the persons or bodies mentioned in subsection (1), without reasonable excuse, fails to comply with any requirement under subsection (1), the person or body concerned shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000.
