Power to enter upon lands for purposes of this Act
64.—(1) The Comptroller or the Chief Assessor or any officer authorised by either of them in that behalf may, for the purposes of this Act, enter at all reasonable hours in the daytime into and upon any building or land without being liable to any legal proceedings or molestation whatsoever on account of such entry.
(2) The Comptroller or the Chief Assessor or any such authorised officer shall not enter into any dwelling-house in actual occupation, unless with the consent of the occupier thereof, without 6 hours’ previous notice to the occupier.

64.—(1) For the purposes of carrying out in good faith the functions and duties of the SBNB under this Act —
(a)
a member of the SBNB; or
(b)
an officer of a statutory authority authorised by the SBNB under section 49(9),
may at all reasonable hours in the daytime enter any building or land.

(2) The member of the SBNB or the officer of a statutory authority authorised by the SBNB shall not enter into any dwelling-house in actual occupation, unless with the consent of the occupier thereof, without 6 hours’ previous notice to the occupier.
