Property left in public service vehicles
144.—(1)  Every driver or conductor of a public service vehicle shall immediately deposit at a police station or at the office of the Registrar all money or other property left in any public service vehicle of which he is in charge and not claimed by the owner thereof.
(2)  Any driver or conductor who neglects or omits to so deposit all money or other property shall be guilty of an offence.
(3)  The Authority may make rules for the disposal of money or other property deposited at a police station or the office of the Registrar under subsection (1).
