The following Act was passed by Parliament on 20th March 1998 and assented to by the President on 31st March 1998:—

An Act to provide for making supplementary provision to meet additional expenditure for the financial year 1st April 1997 to 31st March 1998.

Be it enacted by the President with the advice and consent of the Parliament of Singapore, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Supply Act 1998.

Supply $497,053,600 and $1,329,541,300

2.—(1) A further sum of $497,053,600, not otherwise provided for by the Supply Act 1997 (Act 3 of 1997), is hereby authorised to be issued from the Consolidated Fund for the period from 1st April 1997 to 31st March 1998.

(2) A further sum of $1,329,541,300, not otherwise provided for by the Supply Act 1997, is hereby authorised to be issued from the Development Fund for the period from 1st April 1997 to 31st March 1998.

(3) The sums specified in subsections (1) and (2) are hereby appropriated for the purposes of the Heads of Expenditure specified in the Schedule.
