Infectious Diseases (Infected Areas)
(Amendment) Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(1) of the Infectious Diseases Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Infectious Diseases (Infected Areas) (Amendment) Notification 2017 and comes into operation on 26 January 2017.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Infectious Diseases (Infected Areas) Notification 2004 (G.N. No. S 328/2004) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the word “Bolivia” wherever it appears in item 4 and substituting in each case the words “Bolivia, Plurinational (State of)”;
(b)	by deleting item 39; and
(c)	by deleting the word “Venezuela” wherever it appears in item 50 and substituting in each case the words “Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of)”.
