Road Traffic (Rebate on Licence Fee for Electric Cars and Hybrid Cars) (Amendment) Rules 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 11 (4A), 34 and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Rebate on Licence Fee for Electric Cars and Hybrid Cars) (Amendment) Rules 2002 and shall come into operation on 26th August 2002.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Road Traffic (Rebate on Licence Fee for Electric Cars and Hybrid Cars) Rules 2000 (G.N. No. S 601/2000) is amended by deleting the words “Sixth Schedule” in the 3rd line of the definition of “licence fee” and substituting the words “Sixth or Ninth Schedule”.
