Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act
(Amendment of Schedule) (No. 4)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of Schedule) (No. 4) Notification 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 December 2014.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Appendices of the Schedule to the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act are amended by deleting item 13A under sub-heading B in taxon I under the heading “PHYLUM CHORDATA CLASS MAMMALIA (MAMMALS)” in Part I and substituting the following item:

Capra hircus aegagrus (Pakistan) (Specimens of the domesticated form are not subject to the provisions of the Convention)

”.
