Registration of Births and Deaths
(Amendment No. 2) Rules 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2012 and shall come into operation on 31st December 2012.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Registration of Births and Deaths Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “$30” in item 1(a) and (b) and substituting in each case “$33”;
(b)	by deleting “$35.” in item 3(b) and substituting “$38.”;
(c)	by deleting the words “$40 subject to a maximum of $120.” in item 6 and substituting the words “$44 subject to a maximum of $132.”; and
(d)	by deleting “$30.” in item 7 and substituting “$33.”.
