Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) (Amendment) Rules 1999

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 180(1) of the Women’s Charter, the Minister for Community Development hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and Commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) (Amendment) Rules 1999 and shall come into operation on 1st June 1999.

Amendment of rule 4

2. Rule 4(2) of the Women’s Charter (Registration of Marriages) Rules (R 3) (referred to in these Rules as the principal Rules) is amended by deleting "$34" and substituting "$35".

Amendment of rule 5

3. Rules 5 (1) of the principal Rules is amended by deleting "$23" and substituting "$24".

Amendment of rule 6

4. Rule 6 (5) of the principal Rules is amended by deleting "$25" and substituting "$26".

Amendment of rule 13

5. Rule 13 (1) of the principal Rules is amended by deleting "$15" and substituting "$16".

Amendment of rule 15

6. Rule 15 (2) of the principal Rules is amended by deleting "$23" and substituting "$24".
