Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) of the Free Trade Zones Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 2004 and shall come into operation on 16th February 2004.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) Notification (N 3) is amended by deleting item (4) and substituting the following item:

“(4) PSA Corporation Limited (Pasir Panjang Wharves/Multi-Purpose Terminal)

All that area occupied by “PSA CORPORATION LIMITED (PASIR PANJANG WHARVES/MULTI-PURPOSE TERMINAL) — FREE TRADE ZONE” containing an area of approximately 40.6 hectares are bounded by West Coast Highway, Pasir Panjang Road and Pasir Panjang Fairway.

The boundary commences at the western-most corner of the aforesaid “PSA CORPORATION LIMITED (PASIR PANJANG WHARVES/MULTI-PURPOSE TERMINAL) —FREE TRADE ZONE” which point of commencement is 898.5 metres South and 8,200.0 metres West of the Singapore Land Authority’s origin of co-ordinates (30,000 metres North, 30,000 metres East) and the boundary runs approximately as follows:

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) Notification is amended by deleting Plan IV and substituting the following Plan:

“Plan IV

Psa Corporation Limited
(Pasir Panjang Wharves/multi-purpose Terminal)
— Free Trade Zone

”.
