Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist
Food Establishments and Tourist Public
Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry) makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2017 and comes into operation on 11 September 2017.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification 2014 (G.N. No. S 327/2014) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items (176) and (239);

(b)

by deleting the words “Sofitel So Singapore” in item (218) and substituting the words “SO Sofitel Singapore”;

(c)

by deleting the words “Premier Inn” in item (253) and substituting the words “Destination Singapore Beach Road”; and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after item (260), the following items:

“(261) Garden Terrace Hotel

(262) Hotel G Singapore

(263) Park Hotel Farrer Park

(264) Pegasus Boutique Hotel

(265) Santa Grand Hotel Boat Quay

(266) Sofitel Singapore City Centre

(267) Courtyard By Marriott Singapore Novena

(268) YOTEL Singapore Orchard Road”.
