Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes
(Medifund Committees) (Amendment No. 9)
Order 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Order is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) (Amendment No. 9) Order 2017 and, except for paragraph 2(a) and (b), is deemed to have come into operation on 15 September 2017.

(2) Paragraph 2(a) and (b) comes into operation on 1 October 2017.

Amendment of Part 1 of Schedule

2. Part 1 of the Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Medifund Committees) Order 2015 (G.N. No. S 361/2015) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Jurong Health Services Medifund Committee” in the first column of item 17 and substituting the words “Ng Teng Fong General Hospital Medifund Committee”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item (3) in the second column of item 17, the following item:

“(4) National University Polyclinics”; and

(c)

by renumbering the existing item in the second column of item 23 as item (1), and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“(2) Man Fut Tong Ho Yuen Hoe Senior Care Centre”.
