Medical and Elderly Care Endowment
Schemes (Approved Institutions)
(Amendment No. 10) Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 8 of the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1.—(1) This Notification is the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) (Amendment No. 10) Notification 2017 and, except for paragraph 2(b), is deemed to have come into operation on 16 October 2017.

(2) Paragraph 2(b) comes into operation on 23 October 2017.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes (Approved Institutions) Notification 2016 (G.N. No. S 2/2016) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 136, the following item:

“137. Woodlands Care Home”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 137, the following item:

“138. St. Andrew’s Senior Care (Tampines)”.
