Poisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 1996
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Poisons Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Notification:
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Poisons Act (Amendment of Schedule) Notification 1996 and shall come into operation on 17th May 1996.
2.  Part I of the Schedule to the Poisons Act is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately below the word “Bromvaletone”, the word “Brotizolam”;
(b)by inserting, immediately below the words “Etoxeridine; its salts”, the words “Etryptamine; its salts; its esters; their salts”;
(c)by inserting, immediately before the word “Mesoridazine”, the word “Mesocarb”;
(d)by inserting, immediately below the word “Metharbitone”, the words “Methcathinone; its salts”; and
(e)by inserting, immediately below the words “Yohimba, alkaloids of; its quarternary compounds; their salts”, the words “Zipeprol; its salts”.
