| Legal Profession (Disciplinary Committee Proceedings) (Amendment) Rules 2006 |

| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Rules may be cited as the Legal Profession (Disciplinary Committee Proceedings) (Amendment) Rules 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2007. |
| Amendment of rule 2 |
2. Rule 2(1) of the Legal Profession (Disciplinary Committee Proceedings) Rules (R 2) (referred to in these Rules as the principal Rules) is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “identification number”, the following definition:

| Amendment of Schedule |
| 3. Form 1 of the Schedule to the principal Rules is amended by deleting the words “sole proprietorship, firm or law corporation” in paragraph 1 and substituting the words “law practice”. |
| Miscellaneous amendments |
| 4. The principal Rules are amended by deleting the words “sole proprietorship, firm of solicitors or law corporation” in rules 3(1)(b)(ii) and 4(1)(b)(ii) and substituting in each case the words “law practice”. |
