Poisons (Amendment) Rules 2018
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(1) of the Poisons Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules are the Poisons (Amendment) Rules 2018 and come into operation on 1 June 2018.
Amendment of Second Schedule
2.  Group II of the Second Schedule to the Poisons Rules (R 1) is amended by inserting, immediately below the item “Terbinafine”, the following item:
 
“Tetrahydropalmatine; its isomers; their salts
Chinese proprietary medicines; Corydalis yanhusuo in raw form described in the current edition of “A Dictionary of Chinese Pharmacy” <<中药大辞典>> or “The Chinese Herbal Medicine Materia Medica” <<本草纲目>>; herbal substances in raw form described in the current edition of “A Dictionary of Chinese Pharmacy” <<中药大辞典>> or “The Chinese Herbal Medicine Materia Medica” <<本草纲目>>, intended for the manufacture of Chinese proprietary medicines only.”.
