Public Entertainments and Meetings
(Demerit Points) (Amendment)
Rules 2011

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 15 and 23(1) of the Public Entertainments and Meetings Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Demerit Points) (Amendment) Rules 2011 and shall come into operation on 1st July 2011.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Demerit Points) Rules (R 2) is amended by deleting sub-paragraph (ii) of paragraph (b) of the definition of “licence”.

Amendment of Schedule

3. The Schedule to the Public Entertainments and Meetings (Demerit Points) Rules is amended —

(a)	by deleting paragraph 6 of Part IV; and
(b)	by deleting Parts V and VII.
