Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment) Notification 2002

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(1) of the Free Trade Zones Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) (Amendment) Notification 2002 and shall come into operation on 8th May 2002.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) Notification (N 3) is amended by deleting item (4) and substituting the following item:

“

(4) Port of Singapore (Pasir Panjang Wharves/Multi Purpose Terminal)

All that area occupied by “PSA CORPORATION LIMITED (PASIR PANJANG WHARVES/MULTI PURPOSE TERMINAL) – FREE TRADE ZONE” containing an area of approximately 40.6 hectares are bounded by West Coast Highway, Pasir Panjang Road and Pasir Panjang Fairway.

The boundary commences at the western-most corner of the aforesaid “PSA CORPORATION LIMITED (PASIR PANJANG WHARVES/MULTI PURPOSE TERMINAL) FREE TRADE ZONE” which point’s adopted co-ordinates are North 29,101.5 metres and East 21,800.0 metres. This point of commencement is 898.5 metres South and 8,200.0 metres West of the Survey Department’s origin of coordinates and runs as under:

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Free Trade Zones (Declared Areas) Notification is amended by deleting Plan IV and substituting the following Plan:
