Environmental Protection and Management Act
(Chapter 94A)
Environmental Protection and Management (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment) Regulations 2010
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 77(1) of the Environmental Protection and Management Act, the National Environment Agency, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Environmental Protection and Management (Hazardous Substances) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2010.
Amendment of regulation 17
2.  Regulation 17 of the Environmental Protection and Management (Hazardous Substances) Regulations (Rg 4) is amended by deleting paragraph (4) and substituting the following paragraph:
(4)  The following fees shall be payable to the Agency in respect of a permit to store and use hazardous substances:
(a)a fee of —
(i)$74 for the issue or renewal of the permit for one year; or
(ii)$148 for the issue or renewal of the permit for 2 years;
(b)a fee of $20 for making amendments to the permit on any one occasion.”.
