Weights and Measures (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2000

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 7, 10, 13 and 37 of the Weights and Measures Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2000.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Weights and Measures (Fees) Regulations (Rg 2) is amended by deleting the word “Government” in the 1st line and substituting the words “Singapore Productivity and Standards Board”.

Amendment of regulation 3

3. Regulation 3 of the Weights and Measures (Fees) Regulations is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Ministry of Trade and Industry” in the 4th and 5th lines and substituting the words “Singapore Productivity and Standards Board”; and
(b)	by deleting the word “Government” in the 5th line and substituting the words “Singapore Productivity and Standards Board”. [G.N. No. S 263/92]
