(Amendment) Order 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 28A of the Supreme Court of Judicature Act, I, Sundaresh Menon, Chief Justice, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Supreme Court of Judicature (Transfer of Proceedings pursuant to section 17A(2)) (Amendment) Order 2014 and shall come into operation on 14th April 2014.

Amendment of paragraph 4

2. Paragraph 4 of the Supreme Court of Judicature (Transfer of Proceedings pursuant to section 17A(2)) Order 2007 (G.N. No. S 673/2007) is amended by deleting the words “Senior District Judge” and substituting the words “Presiding Judge of the State Courts”.
