Criminal Procedure Code
(Qualified Persons) (Amendment)
Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 263(4) of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Criminal Procedure Code (Qualified Persons) (Amendment) Notification 2019 and comes into operation on 25 November 2019.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Qualified Persons) Notification 2010 (G.N. No. S 801/2010) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub‑paragraph (q); and

(b)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of sub‑paragraph (r) and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following sub‑paragraphs:

“(s)	any Casino Gaming Expert (Casino Crime Investigation Branch) of the Singapore Police Force;
(t)	any Gambling Expert (Specialised Crime Branch) of the Singapore Police Force;
(u)	any Triad Expert (Secret Societies Branch) of the Singapore Police Force.”.
