Legal Profession (Practising Certificate) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2006
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 25(7) and (8) of the Legal Profession Act, the Council of the Law Society of Singapore, with the approval of the Chief Justice, hereby makes the following Rules:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Rules may be cited as the Legal Profession (Practising Certificate) (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2007.
Amendment of rule 4A
2.  Rule 4A(1) of the Legal Profession (Practising Certificate) Rules (R 6) is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “law firm” in the 5th line, the words “, limited liability law partnership”.
Amendment of Schedule
3.  Form C of the Schedule to the Legal Profession (Practising Certificate) Rules is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “law firm” wherever they appear in sub-paragraph (iii) under the heading “THE SCHEDULE”, the words “, limited liability law partnership”.
