Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Quota System)
(Amendment) Rules 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10A(4) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Quota System) (Amendment) Rules 2016 and come into operation on 30 April 2016.

Amendment of rule 9C

2. Rule 9C of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Quota System) Rules (R 31) is amended by deleting the words “30 April 2016” in paragraphs (2)(c)(i) and (4)(b) (paragraphs (iii) and (iv) of the definition of “D”) and substituting in each case the words “31 July 2017”.
