Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist
Food Establishments and Tourist Public
Houses) (Amendment) Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry (Industry) makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification is the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment) Notification 2017 and comes into operation on 17 March 2017.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification 2014 (G.N. No. S 327/2014) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items (16), (19), (73), (107) and (214);

(b)

by deleting the words “Park 22 Hotel” in item (134) and substituting the words “Park 22 hotel Chinatown”;

(c)

by deleting the words “The Duxton” in item (178) and substituting the words “The Duxton Club”;

(d)

by deleting the words “Grand Imperial Hotel” in item (223) and substituting the words “Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon”;

(e)

by deleting the words “The South Beach” in item (229) and substituting the words “JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach”; and

(f)

by inserting, immediately after item (254), the following items:

“(255) Ascott Orchard Singapore

(256) Hotel Mono

(257) Hotel NuVe Heritage

(258) The Warehouse Hotel

(259) Victoria Hotel

(260) Villa Samadhi Singapore”.
