Road Traffic Act

Road Traffic (Exemption of Ministerial Grade Cars for the 1998 East Asia Economic Summit) Order 1998
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 142 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Communications hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Road Traffic (Exemption of Ministerial Grade Cars for the 1998 East Asia Economic Summit) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 9th October 1998.
Exemption
2.  Motor vehicles owned by Volkswagen Group Singapore Pte Ltd, which are to be used for the purpose of the 1998 East Asia Economic Summit from 10th October 1998 to 15th October 1998, shall be exempted from sections 10 and 11 of the Act for that period.

Made this 7th day of October 1998.
