Road Traffic (International Circulation) (Amendment No. 3) Rules 2004

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25 and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (International Circulation) (Amendment No. 3) Rules 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2005.

Amendment of rule 20E

2. Rule 20E(2) of the Road Traffic (International Circulation) Rules (R 7) is amended by deleting the definition of “part of a day” and substituting the following definition:

“ “part of a day” —

(a)	on 7th, 14th, 20th and 28th January 2005, excludes any period of time between midnight and 0200 hours, or between 1700 hours and 2359 hours, of those days; and
(b)	on any other day, excludes any period of time between midnight and 0200 hours, or between 1900 hours and 2359 hours, of that day.”.
