Telecommunications (Certificates of
Competency for Ship Station Operators)
(Amendment) Regulations 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Telecommunications Act, the Info‑communications Media Development Authority, with the approval of the Minister for Communications and Information, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Telecommunications (Certificates of Competency for Ship Station Operators) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and are deemed to have come into operation on 1 October 2016.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Telecommunications (Certificates of Competency for Ship Station Operators) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Info‑communications Development Authority of Singapore” wherever they appear in the Form of Certificate of Competency and substituting in each case the words “Info‑communications Media Development Authority”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “INFO‑COMMUNICATIONS DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE” wherever they appear in the Form of Certificate of Competency and substituting in each case the words “INFO‑COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY”.
