(Amendment of First Schedule)
Order 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 427(1) of the Criminal Procedure Code 2010, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2011 and shall come into operation on 20th December 2011.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Criminal Procedure Code 2010 is amended —
(a)by inserting, in the seventh column relating to Penal Code section 195, the words “The court by which the offence is triable”;
(b)by deleting the words “District Court” in the seventh column relating to Penal Code section 196 and substituting the words “The court by which the offence of giving or fabricating evidence is triable”;
(c)by deleting the word “Ditto” in the seventh column relating to Penal Code sections 201 (Causing disappearance of evidence of an offence committed, or giving false information touching it, to screen the offender, if the offence is capital), 240, 255 and 376G(4) and substituting in each case the words “District Court”;
(d)by deleting the word “Ditto” in the seventh column relating to Penal Code sections 239, 376G(3) and 440 and substituting in each case the words “Magistrate’s Court or District Court”;
(e)by deleting the words “District Court” in the seventh column relating to Penal Code sections 241A, 243, 254A and 376G(5) and substituting in each case the words “Magistrate’s Court or District Court”; and
(f)by inserting, in the seventh column relating to Penal Code sections 304(b), 314 (Death caused by an act done with intent to cause miscarriage), 315, 316, 366, 367, 371, 372, 373, 373A, 382 and 450, the words “District Court”.
