Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act (Amendment of Fifth Schedule) Order 2006

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(2) of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act (Amendment of Fifth Schedule) Order 2006 and shall come into operation on 1st February 2006.

Amendment of Fifth Schedule

2. The Fifth Schedule to the Land Transport Authority of Singapore Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Registrar of Vehicles” in item 5 and substituting the word “Authority”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 5, the following item:

“5A. The following subsidiary legislation made under the Road Traffic Act:

(a)	rules 10, 22, 24A, 24B, 25 and 28 of the Road Traffic Rules (Cap. 276, R 20);
(b)	rules 8 and 9 of the Road Traffic (Expressway Traffic) Rules (Cap. 276, R 23);
(c)	rules 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic (Pedestrian Crossings) Rules (Cap. 276, R 24); and
(d)	rule 8 of the Road Traffic (Traffic Signs) Rules (Cap. 276, R 33).”.
