Statistics Act
(Amendment of First Schedule)
Order 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13 of the Statistics Act, the Minister for Trade and Industry makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Statistics Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Order 2015 and comes into operation on 8 September 2015.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Statistics Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 1, the following items:

“1A.	Accommodation and food service activities

1B.	Administrative and support service activities”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item 3, the following item:

“3A.	Assets, liabilities, and financial operations and transactions, of persons”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 6, the following items:

“6A.	Business, employers’ and professional membership organisations, trade unions, religious organisations, political organisations, and other membership organisations representing or promoting particular interests

6B.	Business, personal and household services”;

(d)

by deleting item 8;

(e)

by deleting item 20 and substituting the following item:

“20.	Health and social services”;

(f)

by deleting item 25 and substituting the following item:

“25.	Investment”;

(g)

by inserting, immediately after item 36, the following item:

“36A.

Prices and charges”;

(h)

by inserting, immediately after item 37, the following items:

“37A.

Professional, scientific and technical activities

37B.	Public administration and defence”;

(i)

by inserting, immediately after item 38, the following item:

“38A.

Real estate activities”;

(j)

by deleting item 43 and substituting the following item:

“43.	Transportation and storage”; and

(k)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of item 44, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following item:

“45.	Wholesale and retail trade”.
