Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2007

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11(1) of the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, the Minister for Manpower hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2007 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2008.

Amendment of paragraph 3

2. Paragraph 3 of the Employment of Foreign Manpower (Levy) Order 2007 (G.N. No. S 343/2007) is amended —

(a)	by deleting “50%” in sub-paragraph (2)(a) and substituting “55%”; and
(b)	by deleting “35%” in sub-paragraphs (2)(b) and (3) and substituting in each case “40%”. [G.N. No. S 471/2007]
