Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 of the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act, the Minister for National Development hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Notification 2005 and shall come into operation on 19th September 2005.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Part II of the First Schedule to the Endangered Species (Import and Export) Act is amended by deleting the words “Pelodiscus sinensis °3”, “Chinese Soft-shell Turtle” and “China” in the second , third and fourth columns, respectively, relating to "Trionychidae" under “REPTILIA TESTUDINES”.
