Security) Notification 2015
Responsibility of Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security
It is notified for general information that the Prime Minister has, under Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, directed that with effect from 1 October 2015, Mr Teo Chee Hean is —
(a)charged with the responsibility for —
(i)strategic planning, collaboration and coordination between Ministries and statutory bodies in their policies and enforcement action to address internal or external threats to Singapore’s national security; and
(ii)the portfolio of the Prime Minister insofar as it relates to the departments and subjects set out in the Schedule; and
(b)designated as the Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, Prime Minister’s Office.
Citation
2.  This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security) Notification 2015.
Cancellation
3.  The following Notifications are cancelled:
(a)the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister and Co‑ordinating Minister for National Security, Prime Minister’s Office) Notification 2011 (G.N. No. S 293/2011);
(b)the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Portfolio of the Prime Minister) Notification 2011 (G.N. No. S 294/2011).
