Responsibility of Senior Minister, Prime Minister’s Office

It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Mr Lee Kuan Yew shall, with effect from 23rd November 2001, be charged with the responsibility for advising Ministers on any of the subjects under their charge and that he shall be designated as Senior Minister, Prime Minister’s Office.

Citation

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Senior Minister, Prime Minister’s Office) Notification 2001.

Cancellation

3. The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Senior Minister, Prime Minister’s Office) Notification 1997 (G.N. No. S 42/97) is cancelled.
