Criminal Procedure Code (Electronic Filing
and Service for Supreme Court)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2014
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 428(2)(da) of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Procedure Code (Electronic Filing and Service for Supreme Court) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 January 2015.
Amendment of regulation 4
2.  Regulation 4 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Electronic Filing and Service for Supreme Court) Regulations 2012 (G.N. No. S 669/2012) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after the words “paragraph (1)” in paragraph (2), the words “for the Supreme Court (other than the Family Division of the High Court)”; and
(b)by inserting, immediately after paragraph (2), the following paragraph:
(3)  The electronic filing service established under rule 914 of the Family Justice Rules 2014 (G.N. No. S 813/2014) shall be deemed to be the electronic filing service established under paragraph (1) for the Family Division of the High Court.”.
Amendment of regulation 5
3.  Regulation 5(3) of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “paragraph (1)”, the words “for the Supreme Court (including the Family Division of the High Court)”.
Amendment of regulation 7
4.  Regulation 7(4) of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “paragraph (1)”, the words “for the Supreme Court (including the Family Division of the High Court)”.
Amendment of regulation 8
5.  Regulation 8(8) of the principal Regulations is amended —
(a)by deleting sub-paragraph (a) and substituting the following sub-paragraph:
(a)an entity that is registered by the Registrar of the Supreme Court under Order 63A, Rule 5(1) of the Rules of Court shall be deemed to be a registered user under paragraph (1) in the Supreme Court (including the Family Division of the High Court); and”; and
(b)by inserting, immediately after the words “registered user” in sub-paragraph (b), the words “in the Supreme Court (including the Family Division of the High Court)”.
