Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Authorisation of Special Types) (Amendment) Notification 1997

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 of the Road Traffic Act, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Authorisation Of Special Types) (Amendment) Notification 1997 and shall come into operation on 29th August 1997.

Amendment of paragraph 3

2. Paragraph 3 of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Authorisation of Special Types) Notification (N 1) (referred to in this Notification as the principal Notification) is amended by deleting the words “paragraphs 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9” in the seventh line and substituting the words “paragraphs 5, 6 and 7”.

Amendment of paragraph 4

3. Paragraph 4 of the principal Notification is amended by deleting the words “paragraphs 6, 7, 8 and 9” in the fourth line and substituting the words “paragraphs 6 and 7”.

Deletion of paragraph 7

4. Paragraph 7 of the principal Notification is deleted.

Amendment of paragraph 8

5. The principal Notification is amended by renumbering paragraph 8 as paragraph 7.

Amendment of Schedule

6. The Schedule to the principal Notification is amended —

(a)	by deleting Part 1; and
(b)	by deleting the words “paragraph 9” in the first paragraph of the Form of Notice to Land Transport Authority of Singapore and substituting the words “paragraph 7”.
