With reference to the Rules of Court (Amendment) Rules 2005 (G.N. No. S 144/2005), for
“1. These Rules may be cited as the Rules of Court (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2005.”
in rule 1 read
“1.—(1) These Rules may be cited as the Rules of Court (Amendment) Rules 2005 and shall, with the exception of rules 2 and 8 (in relation to Order 96 — Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2005), come into operation on 1st April 2005.
(2) Rules 2 and 8 (in relation to Order 96 — Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2005) shall come into operation on 11th April 2005.”.
