Limited Partnerships (Amendment)
Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 17(11) and 41 of the Limited Partnerships Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Limited Partnerships (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 15 May 2015.

Deletion and substitution of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Limited Partnerships Regulations (Rg 1) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is deleted and the following regulation substituted therefor:

“Definitions

2. In these Regulations —

“electronic transaction form” means a form provided on the electronic transaction system for the purpose of filing documents under the Act electronically;

“electronic transaction system” means the electronic transaction system established by the Authority under section 28B(1) of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority Act (Cap. 2A).”.

Deletion of regulation 4

3. Regulation 4 of the principal Regulations is deleted.

Amendment of regulation 6

4. Regulation 6(5) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “electronic filing system of the Registry” and substituting the words “electronic transaction system”.
