Protected Areas and Protected Places Act
(Chapter 256)
Protected Places (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(1) of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order may be cited as the Protected Places (Consolidation) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st October 2002.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  Item (5) in the Schedule to the Protected Places (Consolidation) Order (O 14, 2002 Ed.) is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “Chief Executive Officer, Board of Commissioners of Currency, Singapore” under the heading “The Authority” in the first column and substituting the words “Managing Director, Monetary Authority of Singapore”;
(b)by deleting the words “Board of Commissioners of Currency, Singapore” in the 1st line, and in the 2nd and 3rd lines of the second paragraph, under the heading “Protected Place” in the second column and substituting in each case the words “MAS Currency House”;
(c)by deleting the words “BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CURRENCY, SINGAPORE” in the 3rd and penultimate lines of the first paragraph under the heading “Protected Place” in the second column and substituting the words “MONETARY AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE”;
(d)by deleting the words “BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CURRENCY, SINGAPORE” in the last paragraph under the heading “Protected Place” in the second column and substituting the words “MAS CURRENCY HOUSE”; and
(e)by deleting the words “BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF CURRENCY” in the Plan and substituting the words “MAS CURRENCY HOUSE”.
