Parliamentary Elections Act (Amendment of
First Schedule) Regulations 2015
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 102 and 107 of the Parliamentary Elections Act, the Prime Minister makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Parliamentary Elections Act (Amendment of First Schedule) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 20 August 2015.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  The First Schedule to the Parliamentary Elections Act is amended by deleting Forms 12 and substituting the following Forms:
“FORM 12
Section 40(3A)
Face of Ballot Paper
Notes:
(1)A candidate’s photograph is to be included on the ballot paper if the candidate provides his or her photograph to the Returning Officer —
(a)within the time, and in the form and manner, specified by the Returning Officer; and
(b)in accordance with the Returning Officer’s specifications or requirements to ensure accuracy and consistency.
(2)If a candidate does not provide his or her photograph in accordance with Note (1), the space on the ballot paper for the candidate’s photograph is to state “No photo”.
(3)The counterfoil is to have a number that corresponds with the number printed on the back of the ballot paper.

Face of Ballot Paper for Group Representation Constituency
Notes:
(1)A candidate’s photograph is to be included on the ballot paper if the candidate provides his or her photograph to the Returning Officer —
(a)within the time, and in the form and manner, specified by the Returning Officer; and
(b)in accordance with the Returning Officer’s specifications or requirements to ensure accuracy and consistency.
(2)The photographs of the candidates in a group are to be placed left to right in the order in which the names of the candidates appear on the ballot paper.
(3)If some but not all the candidates in a group provide their photographs in accordance with Note (1), the ballot paper is to include the photographs of those candidates in the group who do so.
(4)If a candidate in a group does not provide his or her photograph in accordance with Note (1), the space on the ballot paper for the candidate’s photograph is to state “No photo”.
(5)The counterfoil is to have a number that corresponds with the number printed on the back of the ballot paper.
