Customs Act (Amendment of Schedule) Order 2010

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(3) of the Customs Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Customs Act (Amendment of Schedule) Order 2010 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2011.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Paragraph 1 of the Schedule to the Customs Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (1)(b);

(b)

by deleting sub-paragraph (c) of sub-paragraph (1) and substituting the following sub-paragraph:

“(c)	the application of a provision of the Customs (Valuation) Regulations (Rg 8) to the goods.”;

(c)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of sub-paragraph (2)(a); and

(d)

by deleting sub-paragraph (b) of sub-paragraph (2) and substituting the following sub-paragraph:

“(b)	the application of a provision of the Customs (Valuation) Regulations to the goods.”.
