Variation of Responsibility of Minister for Home Affairs

It is hereby notified for general information that, in pursuance of Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has varied, with effect from 1st October 2002, the Schedule to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Home Affairs) Notification 2001 (G.N. No. S 628/2001) by inserting, immediately below the words “Matters relating to the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act (Cap. 65A).” under the heading “Subjects”, the words “Regulation of the sale and storage of intoxicating liquors under Part VIII of the Customs Act (Cap. 70).”.

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility of the Minister for Home Affairs) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2002.
