Immigration (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Immigration Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Immigration (Exemption) (Amendment) Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 28th February 1998.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2(1) of the Immigration (Exemption) Order (O 1) is amended by deleting the word “wives” and substituting the word “spouses”.
