Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics
(Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21 and 22(1) of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act, the Minister for Health makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 5 November 2016.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. Item 6 of the First Schedule to the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) Regulations 2011 (G.N. No. S 110/2011) is deleted and the following item substituted therefor:

“

6.	KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital

Regulation 55(2)(b) of the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Regulations

(a)	1 April 2007

Requirements specified in items 1, 2 and 3 of the Second Schedule

(b)	11 March 2012

Requirements specified in items 4 and 5 of the Second Schedule

(c)	24 September 2012

Requirements specified in item 6 of the Second Schedule

(d)	10 September 2013

Requirements specified in item 7 of the Second Schedule

(e)	2 June 2014

Requirements specified in items 8 and 9 of the Second Schedule

(f)	5 November 2016

Requirements specified in item 10 of the Second Schedule

”.

Amendment of Second Schedule

3. The Second Schedule to the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics (Exemption) Regulations 2011 is amended by inserting, immediately after item 9, the following item:

“

10.	Alglucosidase alfa antibodies

Genzyme Clinical Specialty Laboratory, United States of America

”.
