(Miscellaneous Amendments)
Regulations 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 428 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Minister for Law makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Criminal Procedure Code (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 2 January 2021.
Amendment of Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Fees) Regulations 2013
2.  The Criminal Procedure Code (Prescribed Fees) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 364/2013) are amended by deleting the words “High Court” in the following provision and substituting the words “General Division of the High Court”:
Regulation 2(1)(b).
Amendment of Criminal Procedure Code (Audiovisual Recording) Regulations 2018
3.  The Criminal Procedure Code (Audiovisual Recording) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 571/2018) are amended —
(a)by deleting the words “High Court” in the following provision and substituting the words “General Division of the High Court”:
Regulation 2 (paragraph (b)(i) of definition of “relevant officer”); and
(b)by deleting the words “Judge of Appeal” in the following provision and substituting the words “Judge sitting in the Court of Appeal”:
Regulation 7(a).
